"Humans, as species, are constantly, in every way, comparing themselves to one another. Which, given the brief nature of their existence, seems an oddity and, for that matter, a waste. Nevertheless, this is the driving nature behind every human's social development, their emotional wealth and sense of joy, and, sadly, their greatest tragedies. It is as though something that helped them function and live well has gone missing, and they are pining for that missing something in all sorts of odd methods, none of which are working. The greater tragedy is that very few people understand that they have the disease. This seems strange as well because it is obvious. To be sure, it is killing them, and yet, sustaining their social and economical systems. They are an entirely beautiful people with a terrible problem.
... that is how an alien would see the world."

I, love to hide under rocks.
Where my imagination sets free.
Never end never complete.
I live under the rocks by the sea.
Where no one can see me.
Only the sea can see me.
Only the sea.

Afterward i looked up, after having a hard time softening my heart.
I saw: two people, cute as can be.
Looking at each other
swaying their bodies and swinging their shoulders
as they smiled.
Their four eyes like deep pools.
I just stared. My heart became warm. soft. putty.
I smiled.

And i smiled, and i smiled.
There's something about the way people talk
that makes me want to live on a desert island.

Just because you're talking, doesn't mean you're saying much.

Let's keep it positive.

For Zion's sake I will not keep silent,
for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet,
till her righteousness shines out like the dawn,
her salvation like a blazing torch.
The nations will see your righteousness,
and all kings your glory;
you will be called by a new name
that the mouth of the LORD will bestow.

You will be a crown of splendor in the LORD's hand,
a royal diadem in the hand of your God.

No longer will they call you Deserted,
or name your land Desolate.
But you will be called Hephzibah, [my delight is in her]
and your land Beulah [married] ;
for the LORD will take delight in you,
and your land will be married.

As a young man marries a maiden,
so will your sons marry you;
as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride,
so will your God rejoice over you.

It's:
The love of my God
The love of my family
The love of my life.

One of these days i just have to tell the world and it's people to their face:
i'm not listening anymore.
